We were asked to look at Levenshulme ensuite bathroom reconfiguration. The house had 4 large bedrooms, but only one bathroom and a separate toilet. we were also asked to look at a downstairs extension, but our to budget constraints, my clients decided to change their rear french door to a set of bi-fold doors.
We looked at 3 different bathroom and ensuite configurations, and, on the ground floor we looked at how the bi-fold door arrangement would effect the internal arrangement. The existing internal door layout, meant that circulation was tight and confusing, so we worked through a couple of options to show have blocking up and relocating doors could simplify the layout and create more space for entertaining and stop guests from bumping into the study chair, or catching on the dresser as they squeezed past!
It was fantastic, we've got loads of new ideas. It's been really enjoyable and very hard work for us, never mind for Pride Road! But really, really helpful, clarified our ideas. We're a lot more focused now.
