Here’s what Su Morgan has to say about architect Shuahra Rahman of Pride Road Sutton and Kingston.
‘Shuahra was kind enough to volunteer her time to support Tadcrafters Community Interest Company. We engage our local community by encouraging volunteers to repurpose fabric and other craft materials to make items which are donated to charities and worthy causes. This activity is very rewarding and boosts self-esteem but we also offer mental health support to those who need it. Shuahra has a keen interest in both craft and promoting good mental health and so was motivated to help us with research to include in an impact report. She carried out the work independently and was able to identify a wide range of useful information, with very little guidance, to a given timescale. We are very grateful for her support and we wish her well in her future career’.
