Let’s start with an overview of Leamington Spa. The settlement was a small village until the 19th century, when rediscovered spring waters saw the development of the modern spa town we see today.

Leamington Spa became a popular tourist resort that saw vast numbers of influential persons visit, including royals, which gave way to the opening of the Royal Pump Rooms and Baths. The town has developed exponentially over the last two centuries, seeing a significant rise in population given its affluence and convenience as a commuter town.

Today, many young families enjoy Leamington Spa as the ideal place to live, work, learn and play. But what precisely is prompting the move?

Here’s a Few Things That’ll Convince You of a Move to Leamington Spa

What are the reasons many young families make a move to the town?

There are beautiful, affordable semi-detached homes

If you’ve ever seen the show “Keeping Up Appearances”, you’ll already be familiar with the gorgeous neighbourhoods of Leamington Spa. The community boasts some magnificent Regency townhouses, with beautiful Victorian and Georgian architecture making up the semi-detached homes.

Most will have two or three bedrooms and are affordable so that you can move or start a family here.

Your kids will get the education they deserve

You won’t be short of options for your kids’ education in Leamington Spa. Many schools are located in the town or accessible in nearby communities, ranging from primary schools to higher institutions.

The outstanding educational facilities include North Leamington School, Arnold Lodge School, The Kingsley School, Campion School and the outstanding University of Warwick.

The town centre will offer everything you need

The town centre of Leamington Spa has grown with its popularity as a tech hub. The thriving high streets, such as ‘The Parade’ includes many varieties of leading chain brands and charming independent retailers and the superb ‘The Royal Priors’ indoor shopping centre.

Let’s not forget the numerous pubs, restaurants, cafes, and other exciting amenities that Leamington Spa town centre offers. You’ll be well taken care of!

There’s a reason why it’s called Royal Leamington Spa

You may have heard the town being referred to as Royal Leamington Spa, but why is that? The town has a rich history that grew due to it’s status as a spa town and has hosted many affluent visitors since the 18th century.

In 1838, Queen Victoria formally recognised the town as Royal Leamington Spa for its facilities’ history and royal patronage. The regal stature of affluence remains today, making the area a very intriguing community.

Its location makes it the ultimate commuter town

Leamington Spa is well-connected to various prominent locations in England. Its location gives easy access to both Birmingham and London by road and rail, a 35-minute or 90-minute commute.

You’ll never be too far from anywhere you want to go!
