If you’ve been around Pride Road Architects for a while, you might not be surprised to hear this: our old website was on the brink of collapse.
We first launched it nearly 10 years ago, when I was setting up Pride Road Architects as a small, client-focused practice. Since then, between us, Magda and I have helped hundreds of homeowners. Sometimes through a quick piece of initial advice, sometimes through free initial consultations, sometimes through workshops, and often through full architectural projects and builds.
The work grew. The practice evolved.
The website… didn’t.
Over time it became slow, dated, and a bit leggy. There were too many pages, it was harder to navigate, and it simply wasn’t fit for modern life, particularly on mobiles and tablets, which is how most people now find architects and advice.
So this wasn’t a rebrand for the sake of it. It was a necessary rebuild.
Why we rebuilt the Pride Road Architects website
As architects, we’re constantly helping clients simplify, clarify, and make sense of complex decisions. The website needed to do the same.
We wanted it to reflect how Magda and I actually work with homeowners day to day: calmly, collaboratively, and with a lot of listening before jumping to solutions.
The new website is faster, clearer, and easier to use. More importantly, it’s designed to support people who are trying to work out what to do next, not overwhelm them with jargon or noise.

We are women. We design homes around real lives.
At Pride Road Architects, Magda Haener and I bring experience, empathy, and clarity to every project. Between us, we are architects, mothers, daughters, carers, and creatives. That lived experience shapes how we design, how we communicate, and how we guide clients through what can feel like a daunting process.
We understand that homes need to work through all stages of life, not just look good on completion day.
We collaborate closely with homeowners to transform traditional houses into bright, generous spaces you can grow into, feel safe in, and feel proud of. The new website has been built to reflect that approach from the very first click.
What’s changed on the new website
We’ve stripped back the clutter and simplified the structure, so it’s easier to find what you’re looking for.
The site now works properly on mobiles and tablets, loads faster, and is much easier to navigate.
We’ve also updated our team photography with a recent photoshoot of me and Magda, because Pride Road is personal. Clients work directly with us, and we want the website to reflect the people behind the practice.
You’ll see a stronger focus on the North West too. Most of our work is now in Cheshire and Greater Manchester, and we’re actively showcasing more of those projects.

What’s next for Pride Road Architects in 2026
There’s another milestone coming.
Pride Road Architects turns 10 years old this year. Ten years of helping homeowners rethink, reshape, and reimagine their homes, sometimes with a quick conversation, sometimes through projects that genuinely change how families live day to day.
Over the past few years, Magda and I have completed a lot of work we’re really proud of. One of our key focuses for 2026 is getting professional photography done and sharing those homes properly.
There are some lovely projects to come, so watch this space.

Rebuilding a legacy website with years of content, too many pages, and a lot of history attached can be a potentially terrifying exercise. Sue and Inness helped us streamline everything, refresh the design, and capture the essence of Pride Road, including our creativity, character, and slightly quirky edge. Sue then built the site and carefully managed the transition, keeping disruption to an absolute minimum.
Phil’s photography has brought a fresh, honest feel to the site and reflects how Pride Road actually works. Personal, collaborative, and human.
What could have been stressful was handled seamlessly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend all of them.

You’ll notice our branding hasn’t changed. We’ve kept our colours, patterns, and Pride Road identity, just presented in a way that works better for today’s homeowners.
